Details of the Job/Internship

Wipro Limited is hiring a Corporate Counsel with experience of to join their office in Bengaluru or Gurgaon.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate strategic partner engagements and various technology and commercial agreements.
• Advise business teams on partner ecosystem matters and legal compliance issues.
• Communicate with key stakeholders and collaborate with teams supporting customer engagements.
• Create templates and playbooks and conduct trainings for legal teams.
• Protect the company’s interests by identifying and mitigating risks through effective contract management.

Eligibility

• Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating software license agreements, IT services contracts, IT infrastructure contracts, IP licenses, online advertisement and marketing agreements, ISDA contracts, construction contracts, property documents, treasury contracts, structured finance documents, hardware purchase and leasing agreements, staffing contracts, IT development agreements, collaboration agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and bank guarantees.
• Understanding of software license compliance issues including open source software and SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS related copyright issues preferred.
• Knowledge of legal and compliance issues including data protection in cross-border transactions.
• Exposure to contract disputes, dispute resolution, or litigation preferred.
• Experience working with senior leadership and advising them.
• Experience in creating templates and playbooks and conducting trainings for legal teams.

Salary/Stipend
