Details of the Job/Internship
Indusspay is looking for a candidate with 3+ years of experience for the position of Corporate finance lawyer.
Role and Responsibilities
- Protect the company from legal risks and regulatory violations in all business transactions and develop strategies for risk-mitigation.
- Assess legal rights and legal risk of various company structures, and make recommendations for corporation, joint venture, limited partnership, and limited liability company options.
- Perform complex legal research and extensive due diligence.
- Implement a foundation for the legal team. Understand the products and services offered by the company and implement respective financial laws.
- Give legal advice on corporate governance, policies, procedures, finances, intellectual property, employment, operations, and regulatory issues, and guide them towards best practices in corporate law regulation compliance.
- Work on comprehensive terms and conditions and privacy policies for the company website, dashboard, and platform.
- Ensure strict compliance with the data protection regulations.
- Draft, review, and modify contracts, government and financial reports, process and procedure policies, and other legal documents as required.
- Negotiate on the companies’ behalf to create, modify, and execute deals.
- Provide legal counsel during legal proceedings, administrative board reviews, and litigations when necessary.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree, related to Law.
- At Least 3 years of experience as a corporate lawyer, a staff attorney or associate attorney for a corporate law firm, or as in-house counsel for a corporation
- In-depth transactional knowledge and understanding of corporate law, tax law, and securities law is necessary
- In-depth knowledge of the Companies Act, Payment & Settlements Act, Banking Laws Act, NPCI, SEBI, compliances with AML, fraud, and illegal transactions.
- Computer proficient - the ability to use MS Office and Google Suite
- Superb analytical, negotiation, and communication skills are crucial
