Mafatlal Industries Limited is hiring for the position of Corporate Lawyer Manager with 3-4 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, vet, and negotiate a wide range of corporate agreements and commercial contracts.
• Manage litigation by coordinating with external advocates, preparing briefs, and ensuring timely follow-ups.
• Support corporate transactions by drafting/reviewing transaction documents and conducting legal research.
• Track and interpret regulatory updates, corporate law changes, and notifications to ensure compliance.
• Advise internal stakeholders, offering practical legal insights for business decision-making.
• Collaborate with teams across Finance, HR, Compliance, and Operations to align legal frameworks with business objectives.
• Maintain a legal MIS to monitor ongoing cases, contracts, and compliance activities.
• Prepare case summaries, legal briefs, and coordinate with external counsel for proceedings.
• Handle additional legal assignments and special projects as directed by senior management.

Eligibility

• Education: LLB or LLM from a recognized university.
• Experience: 3–4 years in corporate law (in-house or reputed law firm).
• Strong knowledge of corporate law, governance frameworks, securities regulations, and commercial contracting.
• Proven drafting, negotiation, and legal analytical skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly.
• High ethical standards, integrity, and sound professional judgment.

Salary/Stipend
