Details of the Job/Internship
Satguru Builders is hiring a Corporate Lawyer with 5–10 years of experience to join its Mumbai office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide strategic legal counsel on corporate, commercial, and real estate matters.
- Ensure compliance with RERA, property laws, company law, and other regulations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, MoUs, and JV deals.
- Conduct due diligence on land acquisitions, redevelopment projects, and property titles.
- Advise on project structuring, regulatory approvals, and builder-buyer agreements.
- Oversee registration processes and ensure statutory compliance.
- Identify legal risks, ensure corporate governance, and support investor relations.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, arbitrations, and negotiations.
- Manage litigation strategy and handle regulatory notices.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, consultants, and external counsel.
- Provide legal training and guidance to internal teams.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Law (LLB/LLM) from a recognized institution.
- 5–10 years of experience, preferably in real estate and corporate law.
- Strong knowledge of RERA, Contract Act, Companies Act, and property-related laws.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
