Airtel Payments Bank is hiring a Corporate Lawyer with 7–8 years of experience, preferably from a law firm. The role requires expertise in agreement vetting, drafting, and negotiation, along with providing day-to-day legal advisory to internal stakeholders.
Role and Responsibilities
- Independently review medium to high complexity agreements.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and perform impact analysis.
- Interpret and incorporate relevant rules and regulations into drafts.
- Negotiate agreements with partners.
- Assist the legal team in standardizing drafts.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to finalize agreements.
- Maintain the contract management tool.
- Provide day-to-day legal advisory to internal teams.
Eligibility
- LLB degree (preferably a 5-year integrated course).
- 7–8 years of relevant experience, preferably from a law firm.
- Proven experience in agreement vetting and negotiation.
- Excellent command of English (speaking, writing, and comprehension).
- Strong time management and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive and business-oriented approach.
Salary/Stipend
