B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology is hiring a Corporate Lawyer for a full-time, on-site role at its Chennai campus. The role involves providing legal counsel, drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, handling legal disputes, advising on corporate governance matters, collaborating with internal departments to address legal concerns, preparing legal documentation, and supporting organisational risk management strategies.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel to the organisation.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts and legal documents.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulatory frameworks.
• Handle legal disputes and associated risks.
• Advise on corporate governance matters.
• Collaborate with departments and stakeholders on legal issues.
• Support organisational risk management initiatives while maintaining confidentiality and ethical legal practices.

Eligibility

• Relevant professional qualification in law, such as LL.B. or an equivalent degree, with membership in a recognised Bar Council.
• Experience in corporate law, particularly within academic or industrial environments, is preferred.
