Details of the Job/Internship

Deutsche is hiring for the position of Corporate Lawyer to join their office in New Delhi. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice on matters related to corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support internal teams and business decisions.
• Ensure the organization operates in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Coordinate and collaborate with external legal counsel on ongoing matters.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions from a legal perspective.
• Manage and maintain corporate legal records and documentation.
• Advise senior management on risk management strategies and potential legal exposure.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized university; specialization in Corporate Law is a plus.
• Registered and licensed to practice law in India.
• Proven experience in corporate law, contract law, and legal compliance.
• Strong skills in legal drafting, research, and interpretation.
• Experience in M&A transactions and corporate structuring preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills – both verbal and written.
• Ability to multi-task, manage competing priorities, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary/Stipend
