Details of the Job/Internship

Dhan Saarthi is looking for a Corporate Lawyer to work with them in a hybrid setting.

Role and Responsibilities

• Act as the designated Compliance Officer with full accountability for regulatory adherence.
• Independently manage all SEBI RIA and AMFI/ARN compliance requirements, filings, and reporting.
• Handle regulatory inspections, audits, and notices end-to-end.
• Client agreements (RIA & distribution).
• Disclosures & consent documents.
• Vendor and partner contracts.
• Ensure all documentation is compliant, consistent, and audit-ready.
• Establish and enforce strict arm’s-length separation between advisory and distribution businesses.
• Define and monitor boundaries across data access, communication, fees, and product recommendations.
• Ensure zero gaps in audit trails, documentation, and regulatory evidence.
• Implement safeguards against mis-selling and conflict of interest.
• Be the sole point of contact for SEBI/AMFI interactions, including audits, clarifications, and notices.
• Ensure timely and accurate regulatory filings and disclosures.

Eligibility

• Prior experience as a Compliance Officer or in a standalone compliance role is strongly preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience in drafting and vetting legal agreements independently.
• Deep understanding of SEBI RIA regulations, AMFI/ARN guidelines, fee-only models, and conflict management.
• Proven ability to operate independently with high ownership and accountability.

Salary/Stipend
