Details of the Job/Internship

eJAmerica is hiring a Corporate Lawyer with 1–3 years of experience to join their onsite office in Mysore, working in the US time zone.

Role and Responsibilities

• Advise management on legal matters across India, the USA, Australia, the UK, Germany, and Poland.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, internal controls, and corporate governance.
• Conduct monthly compliance audits and manage insurance matters in India.
• Support customer audit-related activities.
• Assess and communicate potential legal risks, implementing risk management procedures.
• Draft, review, and finalize legal documents including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, and contracts.
• Oversee documentation processes and ensure timely renewals and compliance.
• Protect company intellectual property and manage litigation with external counsel.
• Enhance legal processes and collaborate with HR, Finance, and Delivery teams.
• Stay updated on legal developments and foster internal legal knowledge sharing.
• Respond to queries within two hours and maintain transparency.
• Support content development for marketing and branding.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) or equivalent legal qualification.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and document review skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work within global teams.
• Hands-on experience with MS Office, especially MS Word.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn legal matters across multiple jurisdictions.
• Preferred: Prior experience or internship within a corporate legal team or law firm.
• Preferred: Familiarity with international compliance standards and best practices.
