Details of the Job/Internship
Eze Consult LLP is hiring a Corporate Lawyer with 1–3 years of experience to join their office in New Delhi. The role involves handling startup compliance, fundraising due diligence, intellectual property matters, and corporate contracts while working closely with startups and investors.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct fundraising due diligence for startups and prepare compliance/due diligence reports.
 - Handle startup compliances under the Companies Act, FEMA, and allied laws.
 - Draft, review, and negotiate shareholders’ agreements, share purchase agreements, and other investment-related contracts.
 - Draft and review commercial contracts including service agreements, employment contracts, vendor contracts, and NDAs.
 - Manage trademark filings, oppositions, and hearings; assist in copyright registrations and advisory.
 - Liaise with statutory authorities, regulators, and external counsels as required.
 - Stay updated with corporate, IPR, and startup-related laws and advise clients accordingly.
 - Ensure accuracy, attention to detail, and timely delivery of legal documents and compliances.
 - Communicate effectively with clients, offering clear, solution-oriented advice.
 - Independently draft documents without over-reliance on AI tools.
 
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree from a recognized university; CS/LLM/IPR specialization preferred.
 - Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in corporate law, startup compliance, fundraising, and contracts.
 - Strong knowledge of the Companies Act, FEMA, IPR laws (Trademark & Copyright), and contract law.
 - Proven experience in drafting and reviewing complex agreements.
 - Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English is a must.
 - Ability to manage multiple assignments independently.
 - Detail-oriented, proactive, and client-focused approach.
