Details of the Job/Internship
Faxoc is hiring a Corporate Lawyer with experience to work remotely in India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advise on matters related to corporate law such as mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and restructuring.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and legal documents.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards and regulations.
- Support board meetings, shareholder resolutions, and secretarial compliance.
- Conduct legal risk assessments and provide recommendations.
- Manage legal facets of fundraising, investments, and securities compliance.
- Represent company in legal proceedings, arbitrations, and negotiations.
- Liaise with external counsel, regulators, and authorities.
- Monitor legal regulatory changes and advise leadership.
- Conduct internal training on legal and compliance issues.
Eligibility
- Proven experience as a Corporate Lawyer, Legal Counsel, or Associate in a law firm.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines.
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
