Golden Legand Leasing & Finance Limited is looking for candidate for the position of Corporate Lawyer.
Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare the appropriate legal documents for trial or court proceedings.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings.
- Design and oversee the company’s policy and position on legal matters.
- Protect the company against legal risks and violations.
- Advise management on relevant legal matters.
- Examine the legal issues related to new products and services.
- Negotiate deals on behalf of the company.
- Represent the company in court or before administrative agencies.
- Guide management on regulatory and compliance issues to ensure compliance with legal regulations.
- Manage corporate legal matters, including forming, maintaining, and dissolving entities and legal contracts, and resolving disputes.
- Perform initial screenings of documents to determine legal effect and significance.
- Evaluate and manage risk presented by new contracts.
- Attend meetings and depositions, such as arbitrations and trials.
- Prepare and review contracts, budgets, and reports.
- Advise management team on legal needs and prepare legal briefs.
- Represent the firm at law conferences and legal seminars.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in law.
- Licensed to practice law from the State Bar Association.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a corporate lawyer.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding managerial and negotiation skills.
