Details of the Job/Internship

Harshwal Consulting Services Private Limited is hiring a Corporate Lawyer with 5+ years of experience to manage the organisation’s legal and compliance framework. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, vet, and negotiate contracts including agreements, NDAs, vendor and commercial contracts.
• Draft and vet company policies and agreements with external entities.
• Prepare and review legal notices, replies, and responses to regulatory and statutory authorities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Indian laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Provide practical and risk-mitigated legal advice to management.
• Advise on laws including the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008, Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999, Income Tax Act, 1961, and Stamp Laws.
• Handle corporate documentation, filings, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with regulatory authorities such as Registrar of Companies and Income Tax Authorities.
• Draft banking-related documents including resolutions and agreements.
• Manage disputes, litigation, and legal notices effectively.
• Liaise with external counsel, consultants, and authorities.
• Maintain organized legal records and monitor legal compliance.
• Provide legal support to group company operations and assist in reducing litigation risks.

Eligibility

• LL.B. / LL.M. from a reputed institution.
• 5+ years of experience in corporate/commercial law.
• Strong knowledge of Indian corporate and regulatory laws.
• Expertise in drafting, vetting, and contract negotiation.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and accountability.
