Details of the Job/Internship
Hygenco is looking for a Corporate Lawyer with a minimum of 8 years of experience to join their Gurugram office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with business units to comprehend their objectives and contractual needs.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including procurement agreements, vendor contracts, confidentiality agreements, licensing agreements, manufacturing agreements, product purchase/ supply agreements, SHAs, SSAs and joint venture agreements, purchase orders etc.
- Ensure contracts align with legal and regulatory requirements, corporate policies, and industry best practices.
- Provide expert legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on contractual matters.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate potential legal issues.
- Participate in contract negotiations with external parties, demonstrating strong negotiation skills to achieve favorable terms and outcomes.
- Facilitate contract execution and manage contract administration throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations and ensure compliance within the organization.
- Carry out tasks with a high degree of independence and requiring minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate the ability to think and think and decide quickly, and to communicate legal issues and solutions clearly and concisely.
Eligibility
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in reputed law firm.
- Licensed to practice law in India
- Experience in Infrastructure contracts and renewables is a must.
- Expertise in drafting, negotiating and managing contracts including procurement contracts, vendor contracts, confidentiality agreements, and joint venture agreements.
- Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts.
- Strong understanding of legal principles, regulations, and industry-specific requirements.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proactive approach to identifying and mitigating legal risks.
- High ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently.
