Details of the Job/Internship

They are seeking a skilled Lawyer with expertise in contract vetting, drafting, dispute resolution, and negotiation. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in handling legal contracts, mitigating risks, and resolving disputes effectively.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft precise, well-structured contracts that protect the company’s interests while ensuring legal compliance. 
• Assist in handling legal disputes, including contract breaches and other business conflicts. 
• Review, analyze and vet various contracts including commercial agreements, service agreements, NDAs, MOUs, and other legal documents. 
• Negotiate terms with stakeholders, counterparties, and legal representatives to ensure favorable outcomes. 
• Ensure adherence to corporate governance regulations, company law, and compliance frameworks. 
• Ensuring compliance with Legal Metrology Act 2009 including product labeling, packaged commodities and weights and measures regulations. 
• Oversee regulatory compliance, including filings, approvals, and risk assessment. 
• Provide legal advice and support in dispute resolution proceedings, including mediation, arbitration, and litigation if required. 
• Identify potential risks in contacts and suggest necessary modifications. 
• Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

Eligibility

• LLB degree.
• Strong understanding of contract law, corporate law, dispute resolution mechanisms.
• Proficient in drafting and negotiation skills.
• Prior experience in a corporate legal department or law firm. 
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. 
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Salary/Stipend
