Details of the Job/Internship
Kalamandir Jewellers is hiring a Corporate Lawyer to join their office in Surat.
Role and Responsibilities
- Corporate Governance: Advise companies on corporate structure, governance policies, and regulatory compliance.
- Contract Drafting & Negotiation: Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
- Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A): Assist in structuring and executing business transactions, including due diligence and deal negotiation.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to corporate laws, securities regulations, and industry-specific legal requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate legal risks in business operations.
- Dispute Resolution & Litigation: Represent the company in legal disputes, arbitration, or court proceedings when necessary.
- Intellectual Property Protection: Advise on trademarks, patents, copyrights, and confidentiality agreements.
- Employment & Labor Law: Counsel on employment contracts, workplace policies, and labor law compliance.
Eligibility
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); a Master’s degree (LLM) or specialization in corporate law is a plus.
- License: Must be a licensed attorney (Bar membership required).
- Experience: Prior experience in corporate law, business transactions, or compliance is preferred.
- Key Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of corporate and commercial laws.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle complex legal issues.
