Details of the Job/Internship

Lex Favios is hiring a Corporate Lawyer for a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. The role involves handling corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and litigation matters, including contract drafting and review, ensuring legal compliance, negotiating agreements, advising clients on regulatory frameworks, and representing clients in legal proceedings.

Role and Responsibilities

• Handling matters relating to corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and litigation.
• Preparing, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements.
• Ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
• Advising clients on applicable regulatory frameworks.
• Representing clients in legal proceedings.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.).
• LL.M. or specialisation in Corporate Law is an advantage.
• Keen understanding of corporate and commercial laws, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets.
• Proficiency in legal documentation, drafting, and contract review.
• Strong negotiation, legal strategy, and client advisory skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
• Prior exposure to private and company M&A, FEMA and RBI aspects relating to FDI and ODI, downstream investment and reporting, and routine company law matters including incorporations, share issuances and transfers, buy-backs, approvals, and filings.
