Details of the Job/Internship
Lexstone Group is hiring a Corporate Lawyer with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience to join their office in Gurugram, Haryana.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Advise clients on corporate transactions, business structuring, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis.
- Represent clients in court and before regulatory authorities as needed.
- Negotiate with opposing parties and resolve disputes effectively.
- Provide strategic legal advice on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring.
- Handle legal documentation and compliance under applicable laws and regulations.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) from a recognized university.
- Licensed to practice law in India.
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in Corporate Law.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Corporate Laws including the Companies Act and LLP Act.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating contracts including shareholder agreements, share purchase agreements, and business transfer agreements.
- Familiarity with legal aspects of FEMA including FDI, ODI, remittances, and compliance is an added advantage.
- Excellent drafting, legal writing, and research skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively within a team.
- Proactive, solution-oriented approach.
