Details of the Job/Internship
Lexstone Group is hiring a Corporate Lawyer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and review legal documents and contracts.
- Advise clients on corporate transactions and legal matters.
- Conduct legal research and analysis.
- Represent clients before courts and authorities when required.
- Negotiate with opposing parties and attend client meetings.
- Handle structuring, drafting, and negotiation of transaction documents.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Eligibility
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong knowledge of corporate laws and allied laws such as Companies Act, LLP Act, PMLA, IPC, CrPC, Evidence Act, and Prevention of Corruption Act.
- Experience in transaction advisory, including drafting and negotiation of agreements such as shareholders agreements, share purchase agreements, and others.
- Working knowledge of FEMA, including FDI, ODI, ECB, and related matters.
- Excellent drafting and legal writing skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a team and manage multiple projects.
- Experience in court representation is required.
- LLB from an accredited university and licensed to practise in India.
- CS/CA qualification is an added advantage.
- Experience in criminal litigation and white-collar investigations is a plus.
