Details of the Job/Internship

Life Designer is hiring a Corporate Lawyer to join its team on a full-time, on-site basis in Bengaluru. The role involves providing legal advice on company transactions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, drafting and negotiating contracts, managing corporate governance matters, and supporting the organisation on legal risk and regulatory updates.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on company transactions and corporate matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Manage corporate governance matters.
• Review legal risks and compliance issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings.
• Stay updated on changes in corporate laws and regulations.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).
• LLM or specialisation in Corporate Law is an added advantage.
• Proven expertise in corporate law, contract law, and commercial law.
• Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and legal compliance requirements.
• Prior experience in a corporate legal role or law firm is preferred.

Salary/Stipend
