Details of the Job/Internship

Mafatlal Industries Limited is hiring a Corporate Lawyer with experience of 6+ years to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of corporate agreements, commercial contracts, and government tender documents.
• Manage civil, commercial, and criminal litigation, including conducting legal research and coordinating with external counsel.
• Handle minor litigations independently while assisting the Legal Head with complex matters.
• Update top management and business teams on latest regulatory changes and legislative developments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide integrated legal support for business objectives.
• Attend to various projects and tasks as assigned by the management.

Eligibility

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB).
• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a corporate lawyer in a company or law firm; experience in a listed company is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of commercial, civil, and corporate laws, with reasonable knowledge of criminal laws.
• Proficiency in corporate governance, securities regulations, and drafting commercial contracts.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in IT tools, software, and AI-based legal applications is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
