Details of the Job/Internship
NimbusPost is hiring an In-House Legal Counsel with 3–5 years of experience to support its expanding business operations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead commercial contracting including customer agreements, enterprise deals, vendor contracts, and partnerships.
- Develop scalable contract templates, approval matrices, and automated contracting workflows.
- Partner with Sales, Key Account Management, and Finance teams on deal structuring, pricing, liabilities, and credit risk.
- Coordinate with external counsel on litigation and dispute matters.
- Ensure compliance with laws related to logistics, eCommerce, IT, and data protection.
- Oversee statutory filings and regulatory requirements under the Companies Act.
- Monitor regulatory developments and advise leadership accordingly.
- Identify and mitigate operational legal risks.
- Manage disputes, recoveries, and escalations.
- Support HR and Product teams on contracts, policies, and platform documentation.
- Strengthen legal systems and processes to support organisational growth.
Eligibility
- 3–5 years of experience in corporate or commercial law.
- Strong expertise in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Sound knowledge of the Companies Act and regulatory compliance.
- CS qualification preferred.
- Experience in logistics, eCommerce, SaaS, fintech, or technology environments preferred.
- Strong business judgment with a practical and solution-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
