Details of the Job/Internship

OPPO India is hiring for the position of Corporate Lawyer with 5-8 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Legal Advisory: Provide strategic legal advice to senior management on corporate and commercial matters
• Compliance: Ensure the company complies with corporate laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with business operations.
• Dispute Resolution: Handle legal disputes, litigation, and liaise with external counsel when necessary.
• Training: Educate employees on relevant legal topics and internal policies.

Eligibility

• [5-8] years of experience in corporate law, preferably in a corporate setting or law firm.
• Strong knowledge of corporate governance, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and technology.
• Occasional travel may be required for meetings and court appearances.
