Phoenix Business Advisory is hiring for the position of Corporate Lawyer to join their office in New Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advising on corporate legal matters, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and corporate governance.
- Conducting legal research and providing recommendations to address complex legal issues.
- Participating in due diligence processes and risk assessments.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure legal alignment with business strategies.
- Representing the company in legal proceedings, if necessary.
- Keeping abreast of legal developments impacting the corporate sector in India.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized university; Master's degree is a plus.
- 3 years of experience as a Corporate Lawyer, preferably with exposure to [specific areas of corporate law].
- Strong knowledge of Indian corporate laws, regulations, and legal practices.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
- Ability to provide clear and practical legal advice to non-legal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Membership in the Bar Council of India.
