Details of the Job/Internship
Reed & Willow is hiring for the position of Corporate Lawyer to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead and execute complex M&A transactions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, and investment deals.
- Advise clients on a broad range of corporate law matters, including regulatory compliance, governance, and operational structuring.
- Draft, review, and negotiate critical commercial contracts, shareholder agreements, SPAs, and related transaction documents.
- Act as the point of contact for clients and regulatory authorities, ensuring end-to-end coordination of legal mandates.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop junior associates, promoting team collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on legislative changes and emerging trends in corporate and M&A laws.
- Support business development initiatives including client pitches, identifying restructuring opportunities, and creating tailored legal solutions.
- Ensure strict adherence to risk management policies and internal compliance protocols.
Eligibility
- Educational Qualification: LL.B. from a reputed institution; LL.M. or equivalent international degree is advantageous.
- Experience: 10–12 years of relevant post-qualification experience, preferably with a top-tier law firm or corporate legal team.
- Expertise: Demonstrated command over corporate law, M&A, private equity, and restructuring mandates.

- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead deals independently and handle multiple priorities under tight timelines
- Business-oriented thinking with a strategic approach to problem-solving
