Details of the Job/Internship
They are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Lawyer with 1-2 years of experience to join their legal team. The ideal candidate will assist in handling corporate transactions, compliance matters, contract negotiations, and regulatory affairs. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and gain exposure to a wide range of corporate legal matters.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in negotiating various corporate agreements, contracts, NDAs, proposals and shareholder agreements.
- Conduct legal research on corporate and regulatory matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and industry standards.
- Accountable for contract drafting, ensuring all agreements adhere to legal standards and safeguard the company's interests.
- Advise internal stakeholders on corporate governance, risk management, and legal best practices.
- Liaise with external counsel as required for complex legal matters.
- Assist in managing corporate filings, regulatory and compliance documentation.
- Stay updated on changes in corporate laws and regulations to ensure the company remains compliant.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B) Masters in Law (ML.B) Preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in corporate law, preferably in a law firm or legal department.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, regulatory compliance and corporate governance.
- Excellent negotiation, and analytical skills.
- 1-2 years Experience in drafting contracts, SHA and other agreements
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Licensed to practice law in India under the applicable jurisdiction.
