Details of the Job/Internship
Shepherd Knight is hiring a Corporate Lawyer with experience of 2–4 years to join their office in Ahmedabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advise clients on corporate law, FDI, FEMA compliance, and commercial transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements including SHAs, SPAs, JVs, MOUs, leases, and service agreements.
- Conduct legal and regulatory due diligence for M&A, investments, and joint ventures.
- Handle real estate transactions including title diligence, conveyancing, and lease structuring.
- Liaise with clients, including foreign clients and MNCs.
- Support the Partner on complex matters and independently manage files where appropriate.
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities such as ROC and RBI.
Eligibility
- LLB with 2–4 years of post-qualification experience at a law firm or in-house.
- Strong grounding in corporate law with exposure to MNCs, foreign companies, or cross-border work preferred.
- Working knowledge of real estate law and transactions.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Detail-oriented and proactive.
- Based in Ahmedabad or willing to relocate.
