Details of the Job/Internship

SPN Advisors is hiring for the position of Corporate Lawyer with 1-5 years of experience to join their office in New Delhi. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist in corporate transactions and conduct legal due diligence/health checks for companies.
• Provide strategic legal advice on corporate restructuring and regulatory matters.
• Offer expert guidance on FEMA, ensuring compliance with foreign exchange regulations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including service agreements, inter-company agreements, and sale deeds.
• Advise on company law matters, SEBI regulations, RBI guidelines, and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Keep corporate clients informed of legal and regulatory changes to ensure full compliance.
• Collaborate with finance, compliance, and tax advisory teams to align legal strategies with business objectives.
• Conduct legal research to support corporate transactions and business operations.

Eligibility

• Educational Background: LL.B. from a reputed university; an LL.M. or additional certifications in corporate law are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in corporate law, preferably in a law firm.
• Expertise: Strong knowledge of corporate governance, commercial law, M&A, and regulatory compliance.
• Contract Management: Excellent drafting and negotiation skills for commercial agreements.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and research abilities to support legal decision-making.
• Work Approach: Ability to work independently while collaborating in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders.
