Wellversed is hiring a Corporate Legal Counsel with a minimum of 4 years of experience to join its Gurgaon office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate corporate contracts and agreements.
- Liaise with external counsel to streamline legal processes.
- Assist with mergers, acquisitions, and business restructuring.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee intellectual property management, policy development, and compliance.
- Maintain accuracy and compliance of documents and contracts.
- Resolve legal queries and close negotiations effectively.
- Execute legal advice provided by senior legal counsel.
- Visit courts and liaise with government offices and stakeholders.
Eligibility
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
- LL.B./LL.M. from a recognized institution.
- Proven experience in corporate law, contract drafting, and negotiation.
- Knowledge of mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring preferred.
- Familiarity with international legal compliance is an advantage.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, tax law, IP law, and labor laws.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams with strong decision-making abilities.
