Details of the Job/Internship

Zazz is hiring for the position of Corporate Lawyer with 5-10 years of experience to join their office remotely. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft and roll out company-wide legal policies (employment, data privacy, POSH, IP, workplace safety, vendor/client relations).
• Ensure end-to-end compliance with:
  • Indian labour laws
  • GDPR
  • ISO 27001
  • SOC 2
  • Other relevant international standards
• Create and maintain legal document templates: MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, DPAs, vendor agreements, and more.
• Must-have: Hands-on experience drafting and negotiating software development MSAs and SOWs.
• Set up governance and compliance frameworks across HR, IT, and operations.
• Manage regulatory audits, contract risk mitigation, and internal dispute resolution.
• Lead internal training sessions and foster a culture of compliance across the organization.

Eligibility

• LLB required; LLM or specialization in corporate/IT law is a strong plus.
• 5+ years of experience in legal & compliance, ideally within IT or tech services.
• Deep expertise in software contracts, service-level agreements, and risk mitigation.
• A builder mindset — proven experience independently setting up legal & compliance frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Indian employment laws, data protection regulations, and global compliance standards.
• Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Salary/Stipend
