Tata Communications is hiring an Assistant Manager – Corporate Legal to join their office in Mumbai. The role will be part of the global Compliance Function within the Legal Department and will focus on compliance-related matters and initiatives, including the development, implementation, and monitoring of a company-wide corporate compliance program.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation and periodic review of company policies and procedures related to compliance.
- Design, maintain, and improve training programs on compliance policies and procedures.
- Support data privacy initiatives, including impact assessments and internal advisory.
- Conduct anti-corruption due diligence of third-party intermediaries.
- Review and advise on transactions from a sanctions compliance standpoint.
- Conduct compliance risk assessments for the company’s business and operations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Eligibility
- Knowledge of corporate compliance, ethics, anti-corruption, sanctions, and data privacy.
- Ability to design, maintain, and improve compliance-related training programs.
- Understanding of data protection impact assessments and data processing agreements.
- Experience in conducting anti-corruption due diligence of third parties.
- Ability to review and advise on transactions from a sanctions standpoint.
- Skills in conducting risk assessments in key compliance risk areas.
