Details of the Job/Internship
Ecosystem Ventures is hiring a Company Secretary with experience of 2–5 years to join their office in Indore.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review statutory requirements and ensure compliance with applicable laws, including the Companies Act.
- Conduct legal and compliance due diligence for startups and other firms.
- Manage corporate actions such as issuance of equity, CCPS, and OCDs, along with related documentation.
- Draft and review commercial contracts, shareholders’ agreements, and NDAs.
- Draft, review, and negotiate documents for startup investments, VC funding rounds, and M&A transactions.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing private placement memorandums and fund-related documentation.
- Manage regulatory reporting and filings for the Alternative Investment Fund.
- Coordinate with investors regarding their shareholding in various startups.
Eligibility
- Company Secretary qualification is mandatory.
- LLB is strongly preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in CS firms or corporate legal advisory roles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze complex contracts and work directly with senior leaders and CXOs.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
