Details of the Job/Internship

EaseMyTrip.com is hiring a Corporate Legal Counsel with a minimum of 2 years of experience to oversee contract drafting, compliance, and intellectual property matters. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and maintain templates for commercial contracts including vendor agreements, service contracts, MOUs, NDAs, and master services agreements.
• Lead negotiations with attorneys to finalize legal documentation.
• Manage and administer legal agreements and related documents within the legal department.
• Provide researched legal advice on business law matters.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Coordinate with product teams on intellectual property matters including patent searches, infringement studies, and trademark applications.
• Create and update standard legal document templates.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research for contracts and corporate matters.
• Train junior legal staff and other departments on legal issues and compliance.
• Advise senior management on strategic legal considerations.

Eligibility

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in law.
• Additional qualifications in intellectual property rights preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience as legal counsel, preferably in a global services organisation.
• Knowledge of US and international contract law.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word for drafting and review.
• Strong communication, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and dynamic environment.
• High ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality.
