Details of the Job/Internship
Google is hiring a Corporate Legal Counsel with at least 2 years of attorney-level experience to join its legal team in Gurgaon, India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Apply legal knowledge to analyze problems, identify key issues, and deliver well-reasoned solutions.
- Negotiate and draft a variety of commercial agreements for products and projects.
- Review Google’s product, marketing, and business initiatives, providing practical legal advice.
- Advise business and cross-functional teams on potential legal risks and compliance with applicable laws.
- Respond promptly to legal requests from various internal teams.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel as needed.
- Maintain attention to detail and proficiency in internal systems and tools
Eligibility
- JD, LL.B., equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law in the state where the position is located.
- Minimum 2 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or at a law firm.
