Details of the Job/Internship

EaseMyTrip.com is hiring a Corporate Legal Counsel to join its office in Gurugram. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, managing intellectual property rights, and providing strategic legal advice to management in the travel industry.

Role and Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and maintaining templates for commercial contracts including vendor agreements, service contracts, product licence agreements, MOUs, NDAs, and master services agreements.
• Negotiating and finalising legal documentation associated with contracts.
• Managing and maintaining all legal agreements and related documentation within the legal department.
• Providing researched legal advice on matters involving various business laws.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Collaborating with product teams on intellectual property matters, including patent searches, infringement studies, and trademark applications.
• Creating and updating standard legal document templates.
• Conducting legal research to support corporate legal matters and contract negotiations.
• Training and mentoring junior legal staff and other departments on legal and compliance issues.
• Providing strategic legal counsel to senior management on business strategies and legal implications.

Eligibility

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Law.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a legal counsel role, preferably in a global services organisation.
• Familiarity with US and international contract law.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and execution skills.
• Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word for contract drafting and review.
• High ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Salary/Stipend
