Details of the Job/Internship
iBUS is hiring a Corporate Legal Counsel with 5–8 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru. The role involves handling day-to-day corporate legal functions for the company and its group entities, including contracts, HR-legal matters, litigations, and compliance.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate non-disclosure agreements, customer contracts, and general service agreements with partners and vendors.
- Draft and discharge notices, claims, defenses, and other legal correspondence.
- Ensure contract terms align with company policies and practices.
- Work cross-functionally to create and implement compliance policies across iBUS group companies.
- Prepare and maintain compliance trackers for monthly and quarterly reporting.
- Build collaborative relationships with sales, finance, tech, procurement, and operations teams.
- Oversee contract management, organize company records, and track expiries, escalations, and deadlines.
- Assist the General Counsel in strategizing growth, incorporations, and cross-border expansions.
Eligibility
- LLB from a recognized university/law school.
- CS qualification is an added advantage.
- 5–8 years of work experience.
- Experience in transactions/M&A is a must.
- Experience in the corporate domain (end-to-end legal) preferred.
- Experience in contract management and regulatory matters required.
- Experience in IT/infrastructure/telecom industry preferred.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
- Awareness of legal, statutory, and regulatory changes.
- Ability to take on challenges and be hands-on in execution.
