Details of the Job/Internship

Kitopi is hiring a Corporate Legal Counsel with 4–7 years of experience to join its office in Dubai. The role involves providing day-to-day legal support across operations, corporate transactions, compliance initiatives, and risk management while working closely with business leaders.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including vendor, service, lease, franchise, and confidentiality agreements.
• Advise stakeholders on legal risks, business strategies, and regulatory compliance.
• Support corporate transactions including entity formation, M&A, and restructuring.
• Manage disputes, litigation, and regulatory investigations.
• Oversee compliance with applicable laws across multiple jurisdictions.
• Develop templates, contract processes, and playbooks for efficiency.
• Deliver training on legal and compliance matters.
• Support IP registration, protection, and enforcement.
• Coordinate with external counsel as required.
• Manage compliance programs including anti-bribery, AML, and data protection.

Eligibility

• LL.B. degree with admission to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.
• 4–7 years of relevant PQE in a top law firm and/or as in-house counsel.
• Strong commercial contract drafting and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of corporate, commercial, employment, and regulatory law.
• Experience in food & beverage, retail, hospitality, or tech sectors is preferred.
• Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Salary/Stipend
