Details of the Job/Internship

Octro Inc. is hiring a Corporate Legal Counsel with experience of 2+ years to join their office in Noida.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, IP, and regulatory matters.
• Identify legal risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including vendor and partnership contracts.
• Ensure contracts meet legal and regulatory standards.
• Manage contract disputes and assist in dispute resolution.
• Support corporate governance through drafting resolutions and internal policies.
• Develop internal legal policies and training programs.
• Collaborate with compliance teams on regulatory and ethical practices.
• Advise on gaming regulations including data and consumer protection, gambling laws, and age ratings.
• Monitor legal and regulatory changes impacting the gaming industry.

Eligibility

• Law degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in the gaming, internet, entertainment, or Big4 companies.
• Experience in contract negotiation, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance in the gaming sector is desirable.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Strong knowledge of gaming industry regulations, IP law, data privacy, and licensing agreements.
• Strong business acumen and ability to support commercial strategy while managing legal risks.
