Details of the Job/Internship

RGP is hiring a Corporate Legal Counsel with experience of 3–6 years to join their office in Bengaluru. The role involves acting as a business partner to global leadership, particularly in the Asia Pacific region, contributing to operational growth, and advising on legal risks, compliance, and business strategies. The position includes negotiating complex commercial agreements, establishing company policies, and supporting cross-functional teams.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and review a wide range of complex commercial contracts globally, with a focus on the Asia Pacific region.
• Oversee vendor contracts, consulting agreements, and other legal documentation.
• Advise on legal risks, compliance matters, and business strategies.
• Collaborate with international teams including finance, corporate, and go-to-market functions.
• Lead or contribute to projects aimed at improving legal processes and operational efficiency.
• Manage corporate compliance filings for entities within the Asia Pacific region with support from a corporate paralegal.

Eligibility

• LLB/LLM from a reputed and accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• 3–6 years of relevant legal experience; in-house commercial experience preferred.
• Strong business acumen with excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to dynamic environments.
• High level of initiative, sound judgment, and decision-making ability.
• Comfort with evolving technologies and business needs.

Salary/Stipend
