Details of the Job/Internship
SugarFit is hiring a Corporate Legal Counsel with experience of 4–7 years to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, terms and conditions, and privacy policies.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international legislation, especially healthcare, data protection, and medical device regulations.
- Manage disputes, pre-litigation, litigation, and arbitration matters, including coordination with external counsel.
- Provide strategic legal advice to management and internal teams.
- Handle intellectual property matters, including trademark and patent-related work.
- Oversee corporate governance requirements.
- Review and improve internal policies and procedures.
- Identify legal risks and implement mitigation measures.
Eligibility
- 4–7 years of relevant experience in a corporate legal environment or law firm.
- Strong knowledge of corporate laws, contract law, data protection regulations, and healthcare-related legislation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, critical thinking, and multitasking skills.
- High integrity and responsibility in handling complex and sensitive matters.
