Details of the Job/Internship
Vyoamyug Aerospace is hiring a Corporate Legal Counsel to lead all legal, regulatory, and compliance matters.
Role and Responsibilities
Corporate Governance & Compliance:
- Draft, review, and maintain corporate documents such as MoAs, AoAs, and board resolutions.
- Ensure compliance with MCA, NASA, IN-SPACe, MoD/DRDO, ISRO regulations, and international treaties.
- Manage statutory filings and liaise with regulatory bodies.
Contracts & Agreements:
- Draft, review, and negotiate partnership agreements, supplier contracts, NDAs, MoUs, joint ventures, and international collaborations.
- Ensure all funding, investor, and shareholder agreements are legally sound.
Space & Defense Regulatory:
- Monitor space law, defense regulations, and global compliance frameworks (MTCR, Wassenaar, ITAR, etc.).
- Secure clearances for technology transfers, exports/imports, and collaborations.
- Coordinate with IN-SPACe, ISRO, DRDO, and international space agencies.
Intellectual Property (IP):
- Protect engines, propulsion systems, reusable rocket designs, and other innovations through patents, trademarks, and trade secrets.
- Manage global IP portfolio and handle disputes or litigation as necessary.
Risk Management & Dispute Resolution:
- Anticipate legal risks in R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and launch operations.
- Handle dispute resolution, arbitration, or litigation when required.
Fundraising & Investor Support:
- Support equity funding, debt structuring, cross-border investments, and venture capital deals.
- Ensure compliance with FDI laws, FEMA, and RBI regulations for foreign investments.
Eligibility
- LLB/LLM from a reputed law school (specialization in corporate/space/technology law preferred).
- 7–12 years post-qualification experience in corporate law, aerospace/defense law, or technology-driven industries.
- Strong knowledge of company law, contracts, IPR, and space/defense regulations.
- Experience with VC/PE funding rounds and international collaborations is a plus.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and liaise with multiple stakeholders.
Salary/Stipend
