Details of the Job/Internship
MantraCare is hiring a Corporate Legal Counselor – India with 3+ years of experience to support its operations in India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Providing legal advice on Indian corporate, commercial, and employment laws.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and corporate documents.
- Ensuring compliance with the Companies Act, labour laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Supporting mergers, partnerships, and corporate restructuring activities.
- Identifying legal risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Assisting in dispute resolution and coordinating with external legal counsel.
- Developing and updating internal corporate governance policies.
- Monitoring changes in Indian corporate and regulatory frameworks.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB).
- LLM preferred.
- Enrolment with the Bar Council of India.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate legal advisory or in-house legal roles.
- Strong knowledge of Indian corporate governance and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
