Details of the Job/Internship
TOVO is hiring a Corporate Legal Executive to join them in Chennai office.
Role and Responsibilities
- The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents, providing corporate legal advice, managing compliance and risk, and handling litigation. Key responsibilities include conducting legal research, ensuring corporate governance, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have expertise in corporate law, a strong understanding of relevant regulations, and excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
- Providing legal advice on corporate matters, compliance, and risk management.
- Handling legal research and staying updated on relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external counsel on legal issues.
- Managing corporate governance, including board meetings and filings.
- Resolving legal disputes and handling litigation matters.
Eligibility
- Degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the state bar association.
- 4-5 years of experience in corporate law
- Strong knowledge of corporate, commercial, and contract law.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
