Details of the Job/Internship
Payoneer is hiring a Corporate Legal Intern to join its Workforce Management business unit in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Supporting the group corporate secretary in managing global entities and international expansion activities.
- Providing company secretarial guidance to boards of directors and committees.
- Reviewing and managing secretarial compliances under the Companies Act and applicable laws.
- Assisting the Board, Board Committees, and Independent Directors on statutory compliance matters.
- Filing statutory documents, returns, and reports as required by law.
- Reviewing agreements to monitor shareholder and corporate obligations.
- Coordinating with internal and statutory auditors and external stakeholders.
- Creating and managing data rooms for diligence processes.
- Monitoring changes in corporate laws and regulatory frameworks and taking appropriate action.

- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities and work with minimal supervision.
- Interest in corporate governance, compliance, and secretarial practices.
