Details of the Job/Internship

Plum is hiring for the position of Corporate Legal - Lead with 3-5 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and manage a range of commercial and corporate agreements, including:
  • Service Agreements
  • Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
  • Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)
  • Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and other commercial contracts
• Support company-wide regulatory compliance initiatives, ensuring alignment with relevant laws and internal policies.
• Oversee vendor due diligence processes, including the review of third-party documentation and completion of vendor questionnaires.
• Assist in addressing security and data privacy inquiries from clients and partners.
• Maintain internal legal and contract databases; monitor and update key documentation and contract lifecycle data.
• Liaise with internal teams—such as procurement, finance, and IT—to resolve contract-related matters.
• Support the legal department in preparing for audits, regulatory reviews, and inspections.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field; paralegal certification is a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience in a legal support role, prefer.ably in a corporate legal department or law firm.
• Strong understanding of commercial contracts, data privacy laws, and regulatory frameworks.
• Familiarity with vendor risk assessments and information security standards..
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, with effective time management and multitasking capabilities.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, Google Workspace, and document management systems.

Salary/Stipend
