Hiranandani Financial Services is hiring for the position of Corporate Legal Manager with 5 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and finalize a wide range of legal documents, including deeds, agreements, MoUs, and contracts related to:
- Financial and banking transactions
- Capital raising, borrowings, and investments
- IT, Cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance
- Provide legal advisory support to cross-functional teams (Business, Operations, Finance, Risk, Compliance, HR, IT, and Secretarial).
- Liaise with external legal counsel, statutory auditors, and regulatory authorities.
- Attend litigation matters, coordinate with advocates, and draft/review pleadings, petitions, and other legal documents.
- Advise internal stakeholders on corporate legal issues and risk mitigation strategies.
- Maintain and update litigation records, legal agreements, and document repositories.
Eligibility
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in handling legal matters with a scheduled commercial bank or RBI-registered NBFC.
- Strong exposure to drafting and negotiating agreements related to financial transactions, capital raising, borrowings, due diligence, stressed assets, IT & cybersecurity, vendor management, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience engaging with law firms on litigation, arbitration, negotiated settlements, and related court proceedings.
- Proven ability to provide management with strategic legal guidance to protect commercial interests and minimize risks.
