Details of the Job/Internship

KredX is hiring a Corporate Legal professional with experience of 3–5 years to join their Bengaluru office. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide corporate legal advisory on legal, regulatory, and commercial matters.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial and corporate agreements including NDAs, service agreements, data sharing and processing agreements, channel partner and vendor agreements, and terms and policies.
• Support regulatory and statutory compliance, including monitoring legal changes and preparing compliance notes, SOPs, and checklists.
• Advise on corporate governance matters and assist in policy drafting, updates, and implementation.
• Support the Board and internal committees with legal inputs and documentation.
• Coordinate with external law firms and legal consultants and finalize drafts.
• Handle pre-litigation matters, legal notices, dispute resolution, and risk mitigation.
• Support strategic deals and partnerships by identifying legal risks and protections.
• Maintain legal documentation for transactions, audits, and compliance.
• Oversee and support litigation from a corporate and compliance perspective.
• Conduct internal legal and compliance training sessions.
• Stay updated on laws relevant to financial services, fintech, contracts, data protection, and corporate operations.

Eligibility

• Law degree from a reputed university.
• 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in corporate legal or in-house roles.
• Strong experience in contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
• Good understanding of corporate compliance and governance frameworks.
• Excellent research, drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Prior exposure to FinTech or financial services is an added advantage.

Salary/Stipend
