Details of the Job/Internship

Lodha is hiring for the position of Corporate Legal Manager to join their office in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project package teams to manage non-litigation legal matters effectively.
• Utilize structured problem-solving skills in both litigation and non-litigation contexts to deliver strategic value.
• Conduct legal due diligence of land assets and support the structuring of land acquisitions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate key legal documents including:
• Share Subscription Agreements
• Share Purchase Agreements
• Shareholders Agreements
• Indemnity Agreements
• And other investment-related contracts, with a focus on investor rights, exit strategies, and compliance.
• Drive the implementation of best-in-class legal systems and processes to enhance team efficiency and performance.
• Lead and manage a legal team, ensuring timely and high-quality legal support across business functions.
• Vet a wide range of property and litigation-related documents, such as:
• Agreements for Sale, Lease, Leave & License, and Development
• Deeds (Conveyance, Gift, Will, Mortgage, Hypothecation, Pledge)
• Power of Attorney, Affidavits, Codicils, Tenancy Agreements, etc.
• Spearhead strategic legal initiatives to improve operational workflows and risk mitigation across the legal department.
