Meesho is hiring a Manager – Legal to join their Legal Team. This role is critical at the intersection of law, business, and strategy, supporting key transactions, driving compliance excellence, and enabling growth.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial agreements including vendor, distribution, licensing, SaaS/tech, and strategic partnerships.
- Advise on corporate governance, regulatory, and compliance matters under Companies Act, FEMA, SEBI, and other laws.
- Support corporate transactions such as M&A, joint ventures, investments, and restructurings.
- Partner with business teams to identify legal risks and recommend pragmatic solutions.
- Engage and manage external counsel for specialist mandates and due diligence.
- Monitor regulatory developments and recommend policy or process changes.
- Drive improvements in contract lifecycle management, compliance monitoring, and risk frameworks.
- Distill complex legal issues into actionable business advice.
- Manage stakeholders effectively and build trust across teams.
- Balance legal risk with business opportunity.
Eligibility
- Qualified LLB.
- Experience in a reputed law firm or in-house role with corporate advisory, transactions, and compliance exposure.
- Experience with cross-border contracts and complex commercial negotiations.
- Analytical, strategic, and business-minded.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
