Details of the Job/Internship
Propelld is hiring a Corporate Legal professional to manage co-lending, securitisation, and debt documentation.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documentation for co-lending transactions with banks and NBFCs.
- Prepare and manage securitisation documentation, including PTC (Pass-Through Certificates) and DA (Direct Assignment) agreements.
- Draft and review debt instruments, such as Facility Agreements, Deeds of Hypothecation, Corporate Guarantees, and related security documents.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders—credit, compliance, finance, and business teams—to understand requirements and provide legal support.
- Liaise with external counsel, lenders, and financial institutions to ensure timely execution of transactions.
- Ensure all documentation complies with applicable legal, regulatory, and RBI guidelines.
- Support due diligence, risk mitigation, and legal compliance checks related to lending activities.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB).
- 3+ years of experience in lending/financial services, NBFCs, banking, or FinTech.
- Prior exposure to co-lending structures, PTC/DA documentation, and debt/borrowing transactions.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment.
